Linjun Xie Wins International ‘Green Talents’ Award

We’re proud to announce that Linjun Xie, a member of our China research team, was recently honoured with a prestigious ‘Green Talents’ award by the German Federal Ministry of Education & Research.  She was one of 25 winners, chosen from a pool of 602 applicants from around the world. Linjun was the only Chinese scholar to win the award this year. The ceremony took place in Berlin on 27 October.

Her award received received wide attention and coverage in the Chinese news media (including Xinhua News Agency, Zhongxin Online, International Online, China Daily, Sina.com and Phoenix.com).  A press release in English is available here. 

As part of the event, Linjun was interviewed along with our China team members Ali Cheshmehzangi and May Tan-Mullins on local Ningbo TV channel YZTV. Watch on Youku.
