- Philipp Späth spoke about the project and presented a selection of his results under the title ‘Big Data und Open Data – Neue wissenspolitische Arrangements in Zeiten der Smart City?’ at a workshop on Assessing Big Data, organised by the Technical University of Dortmund on March 13, 2017.
- Simon Joss presented a paper on ‘Smart cities UK: between standardization and emergent local practices’ at the American Association of Geographers’ annual meeting in Boston (4 April 2017). Abstract
- We also had a strong presence at the 2017 International Conference on China Urban Development in London (5-6 May 2017).
