Our team member Ali Cheshmehzangi presented at a special seminar on ‘Sponge Cities’ in Shenzhen International Low-Carbon City, held as part of the 5th annual International Low Carbon City (ILCC) forum, on 8 September 2017. He shared his insights into sponge city development in the UK and China, under the title “Resilient City Development: Comprehensive Examples from the UK for China’s Sponge City Movement”.
The seminar was hosted by Shenzhen Shenzhen Longgang District Government, supported by the Shenzhen City construction Office, and organised jointly by the Longgang District Sponge City Construction Leading Group Office and Longgang Environmental Protection and Water Affairs Bureau.
